Kael Vorat

Kael Vorat is the current Count of Amalay and head of the noble Vorat family. An adventurer and former artifact hunter, he is fascinated by Anarand’s past and the lost lore of the ancients. Kael responsibly fulfills his governmental duties, but this often arouses conflict within himself, related to his turbulent past and interests. He uses every opportunity and excuse to indulge in his hobby, even if only for a few partitions.

The Masked Woman

Ra'maen's Sigil

Ra’maen is a mysterious creature in the guise of an incomparably beautiful woman who always hides her face behind a featureless white mask. In her dealings with others, she is usually playful, provocative, and sometimes mean. Her abilities seem to extend beyond the familiar Magic Weaving and even touch the dream world. Ra’maen adores life in all its aspects, but woe to anyone who manages to catch a glimpse of her face.

Dea'na Mor

The Mage with a Dark Secret

Lady Dea’na Mor is the only daughter of the most powerful Archmage in Anarand—Tak’air Mor—and a capable Mage in her own right, trained by the finest minds of the Academy of Magic. In her relationships with people, she can be cold and unapproachable, or flirtatious and lighthearted. Dea’na cannot stand the mesmerizing effect her beautiful appearance has on most men and quite a few women, but her very nature prompts her to take full advantage of it.

Dakar Maka

Valdarian Mercenary

Dakar Maka is a mercenary, professional soldier, and seasoned traveler, both in the lands of the Enlightened Realms and in the wilds of the Wastes. He is rough and loud, and this, together with his qualities as a commander and tactician, gave him the opportunity to rise to a prominent position. Dakar likes to consume large quantities of r’ush and laze around in some convenient inn in between his various endeavors.

Rinal

Priestess of Kalit

Rinal, despite her youth, is a full-fledged Priestess of Kalit, Lady of Death. She has an assertive character and an enviable intellect, which help her overcome any obstacle or exhaust even the deepest patience. Her almost maniacal fascination with all sorts of and often forbidden texts from the ancient Lir’Anarand gives her an extraordinary fountain of Knowledge that would surprise even eminent experts.

Tinal

Priestess of Kalit

Tinal is a bright, but timid and anxious girl, who grew up under the wing of her sister Rinal as a novice at the Temple of Kalit. She loves nature and adores all the living creatures in it. Because Tinal possesses an unusual for a Priestess of Death, yet highly developed talent for Healing, many of the usual duties are spared her in the daily life of the Temple.
